Supporting Letter to the “3rd International Tourism and World Heritage Travel Expo”
Under the support of World Tourism Organization, China National Tourism Administration, State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the 3rd International Tourism and World Heritage Travel Expo will be held on September 16-18, 2010 (Thursday to Saturday) at the Venetian Convention & Exhibition Center in Macau SAR, China. Macau Government Tourist Office is glad to be one of the supporting entities of the captioned event for the third consecutive year.
The 2nd version of the Expo has attracted 110 local and overseas exhibitors, an increase of 113% compared to the first version. The exhibition area, covered an area of 4,000 sqm, grew by 74%. 1,800 trade visitors and 20,000 public visitors participated in the event. The first-launched “Hosted Buyer” program had attracted 258 buyers from home and abroad.
With its favorable geographic location in the centre of Asia, its reputation as the world travel city, its advantages as a free port and duty-free paradise for over a century, and its close network with mainland China, Macau has been an important and effective platform for the cooperation and information exchange among the tourism industry.
Macau does witness the achievement of world heritage conservation and dedicates to integrate the world heritage with tourism industry. With the theme of “Conservation, Development, Promotion and Communication”, series of activities such as World Heritage Forum, Best Practice World Heritage Site Award will be held concurrently during the Expo.
The Organizer sincerely invites you to participate as an exhibitor to showcase your tourism resource and products in The 3rd International Tourism and World Heritage Travel Expo, and exploit the business opportunity of the surging tourism market.
At the same time, the Organizer would like to invite the travel agencies and buyers to visit the event.
