The 6th World Heritage Forum
Two topics will be addressed at the Forum:1.Historic and Realistic Significance of Protecting Small Town’s World Heritage—Case Study of Macao. II. Social effects and historic inheriting of intangible cultural heritage.

The Most-Watched World Heritage Site Awards 2010
30 Best Practices will be awarded to be the best practice according to the selection from 878 world heritage sites by the concerned UN organizations.

Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Travel Industry Fellowship
Building a platform for the tourist government offices and industry partners to research on the tourism resources, promote cooperation and fellowship. Initiating a prospect of deeper cooperation and more benefit of space.

Tourism Investment Fair of World Heritage Tourism Destinations
Participating countries are welcome to the fair. Those who’d like to hold the trade talks should apply to the organizing committee 3 months earlier. The Organizing Committee will organize investors and developer to attend the fair.

Macau Government Tourist Office Director's Message

Under the support of China State Administration of Cultural Heritage and World Tourism Organization(UNWTO), the "2nd World Heritage Travel Expo and the 2nd International Leisure Travel, Tourism Commodities& Gift Trade Fair" will take place at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel in Macau SAR from 12th to 14th of November, 2009. Macau Government Tourist Office is glad to be one of the supporting entities of the captioned event for the second consecutive years.
With the theme of "Conservation, Development, Promotion and Communication", series of activities such as World Heritage Forum, Best Practice Award of Tourism Management of World Heritage Sites and Tourism Investment Fair of World Heritage Tourism Destinations will further diversify the market portfolio for the industries, as well as to offer business opportunities for the tourism sector, the "2nd International Leisure Travel, Tourism Commodities &Gift Trade Fair" will held at he same period parallel with the "2nd World Heritage Travel Expo". The Two events mentioned above aims to open up the doors for both the international and domestic leisure travel market, and to establish an effective platform for the industries to reinforce the cooperation and information exchange in between.
